This Fall, Jace and Kent both decided they wanted to play some ball. But not the same sport, of course. And not at the same place, of course. But definitely at the same time on the same day for 2 months. But don't you worry. We got it.
Easy peasy!
Jace decided that soccer was going to be his new thing. He's really developed at it too! It's been so fun to watch him!
The best part about the team was that his buddy Tyler was on it with him.
They had a great coach this year, and their coach from last year was the assistant, so they worked really great with the boys.
Obviously, they had an awesome team. They were almost undefeated this year! They only lost one game, and this might sound like I'm just being a biased mom, yeah, I probably am, but it was a mistake that they lost. It should've been a tie. Our coach wasn't able to be at the game to help and the 12 year old ref that day didn't know a specific rule and called a penalty (or whatever it is, obviously I know a lot about soccer) when there wasn't one when we'd made a goal. Even the other team agreed it wasn't right. So, in Jace's head, he's undefeated! And really, winning is what matters, right?
That's what we teach 'em.
Kent wanted to play flag football this year, and it was a blast!
It took a couple of games for him to decide that he REALLY wanted to get the other team's flags, and by the end of the season, he was doing awesome!
My favorite Kent face!
