ZOO Pics Again

I'm just going to throw these pictures on here.  We went to the zoo with Grandma Chandler and Aunt Brittney in June.  And, for pretty much the first time, there is a picture with an actual live animal!

Go BEES!

We're loving our Pass of All Passes.  We've been going to so many things that we haven't been to before.  This time, we went to a Bee's game.  Kent was especially excited about it, because he's our little baseballer.  He was completely riveted the entire game...and those games are long.

The Traveling Salesman

Tony is gone...a lot....for work.  In the past four weeks, he has been gone three of them.  Blech!  Thankfully it's only during the weekdays.  He's home on the weekends usually.

He goes to so many different places and calls me to say, "I wish you could see this with me."  Apparently it's just not as great without me.  I tend to be like that for people!  He-he!

These are some pictures that he's sent me recently that he wanted to make sure like I felt like a part of his trip.  Mostly, it just makes me jealous...

Chicago
The Bean  (I guess it's a big deal?)

South Dakota

Texas

Montana

Most of these pictures are taken from his car window.  He doesn't have a lot of time to go tour, but he tries to enjoy what he can.  We miss him at home, but as you can tell by the giant fish in Montana, at least it's not torture for him :)

I almost had a heart attack on Saturday.  Tony's passport showed up in the mail.  He is going to start covering Cananda and needed a passport.  To go to other countries.  Without me.  I don't have one.  I might cry.

Some day, Handsome, you need to take me to Europe!

"Powner Rangers"

They're not called "Power Rangers."  They're called "Powner Rangers."  It has been so since the beginning of time.  At least Ryan's time.

Ryan is a dress-up enthusiast.  He comes to my workouts each morning, and everyone is excited to see what he's going to dress up as that day.  Sometimes he's Batman, other times he's Spiderman (red or black), or maybe a Power Ranger.  Yup!  He's pretty cool!

In our neighborhood, he determines the superhero costumes of the day.  Luckily we either have plenty to share, or they have their own.
Pretty dang cute!

Sometimes, after a long day of saving people from bad guys, you get tired.  So tired.  But never fear.  A Powner Ranger is never far from his weapon.
We are all in safe hands.  Always!

Killer Kent Back up to Bat

This year, he isn't as much into the whole "Killer Kent" thing.  Stop growing up, would you?!  But he is having a blast with baseball.  It's coach pitch baseball this year.  Luckily Kent got a coach who pitched in college, so he makes it much easier on the kids.

Kent has a great swing too!  He swings it as hard as he can!

We love getting to go to his games.  It seems like whenever I'm at his games, I instantly feel calmer.  Our summer has been so crazy hectic this year that just sitting in a camping chair, watching him play, is soothing.

The Dance Festival

We did it again!  But this time Dad got to come.  Tony's been out of town so much, he decided to work from home that day of the Dance Festival so he could come watch the kids.

Kent's was first.  Oh my heck, he's so cute.  I loved watching him making his concentrating face!  He's the one in the orange shirt, and jeans, right smack in the middle.  You can't miss his blonde little head.

Then came my girly-girl!  Erica told me that when she got to the part that she gets to shake her little hips and everyone cheers, everyone was looking at her.  Yes, Erica.  I'm sure they were :)  Erica is not lacking in confidence.

(Oh Crud!  I can't get it to work. Maybe later!)

And last, we got to watch Jace.  This is Jace's fifth time being in one of these.  He said the dance was a little weird and uncomfortable, but I loved it.  Jace is the one in the white t-shirt in the farthest to the right row, second from the front, with the tin-foil covered hat.  Supposed to be futuristic, I think.

I heard a lot of parents talking about how they didn't like coming to the dance festival.  WHY?  It is THE CUTEST THING EVER!  If I could watch my kids dance every day I would. Keep it comin', Meadow Elemetary. I love this!
