Has anyone else ever been in charge of coming up with awards for zillions of similar things that need to sound unique. Not easy. Thankfully, I didn't have to do it again this year. The Den Leaders did an awesome job of it and the boys loved their awards. Jace's was "Most Likely to Win the Daytona 500"
or something???
Jace did a lot of work on his car this year. He drew out where he wanted it cut, sanded it, and painted it. I was really proud of him.
"Peace, yo!" Come on! Smile Jace!!
It didn't win. But it was consistent. It took 1st, 2nd, and 3rd repeatedly in the heats!
And it was absolutely necessary that Ryan wear his bat hat that he made at preschool to the derby. I mean, look how awesome. He's practically Batman!
