P.G. Pond

Somehow, one of our last outings of the summer is always a day out at the Pleasant Grove Pond.  This times we had TONS of friends with us.  We had our friends from Park Group, and all of the Chandler cousins!

My Alice in Wonderland

Erica's life has been so consumed with gymnastics up to this point, that we were so excited to be able to fit in a musical workshop over the summer.  Erica was in her very first play.  She was one of the cards in Alice in Wonderland.

Tony and I brought the kids to one of the performances, Grandma and Grandpa Smith came to one, Grandma Chandler and Jim came, the Everetts came, and Aunt Trudy and Ellery came too.  

Here's to many more in the future!

SOOOO Tired!

My little guys are always building forts to play in.  Not my favorite to clean up, but every kids needs them!  Except, this time, it was a fort of only cushions :)

I'm excited for Ryan to see all of the pictures of himself, and see exactly how often he was dressed up.  This summer, we pretty much just take off the costumes to trade them out for P.J.'s at night, and then we put a new one on in the morning.

Boys Night Out

Jace and Erica had a sleepover at the Killian's, and on the way home from dropping them off, the little guys and I decided to have a spontaneous night out.  We stopped at Trafalga in Orem and had a blast!

Thanksgiving Point Fireworks with the Fam

Tony barbecued for the whole Chandler family this year for the 4th of July.  He is definitely the master!   MUY DELICIOSO!

After the delicious barbecue of awesomeness, most of us headed over to Thanksgiving Point to watch the fireworks.  It was awesome this year.  Jace made sure that  I knew that he wants to come to this every year, and "can we please not go anywhere else!?"

Kent and Ryan's B-Days

For this wonderful year of "one-friend" birthdays, Kent's and Ryans' are so close, that they get to share a post.

Kent invited Cole over for his B-day and we went to a movie and out to dinner.   Somehow, I don't have a picture of them both, but needless to say, it was a great day!

Ryan invited his friend Christian over for his B-day.  They went to a movie and out to dinner too!  But first we celebrated with the Smith side.  Grandma saved my sanity and offered to make his birthday dinner.  Girls camp was the day after Ryan's birthday and my brain was all planned out!

The Round-Up Parade

Both Jace and Erica were in the parade this year.  Jace for tackle football, and Erica for her gymnastics team.  I was kind-of bummed though. Erica didn't do any tumbling by me, so I don't have any good pictures on the camera, and Jace was so far into the crowd of boys, that you can't see him in my picture, but hey, you're there!  He's actually right behind the little boy in the hat that walked in front of my camera....

Kent and Ryan were troopers that day. It was SUPER hot and we had just gotten back from camping in time to drop Erica and Jace off with their teams before we found a spot, so we were tired too.  Luckily, we're great shade-searchers, and we found a great spot.  Kent was so excited to get candy that he stood in the sun out by the road just waiting.  I had to keep going up to him and giving him drinks.  Ryan on the other hand was much happier on daddy's lap!
